Hi-Bloom is an exploration of blooming hibiscus flowers in various compositions, immortalized as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Inspired by childhood memories, this project contemplates themes of growth, legacy, and the delicate balance between permanence and impermanence. It invites viewers to reflect on questions like: Is a flower that never withers still beautiful? Does life derive its beauty from its brevity? Can a digital creation endure forever? Are the things we make today, worth saving in perpetuity? By juxtaposing the presence and elegance of nature with the permanence of digital art, Hi-Bloom offers a thought-provoking tribute to the enduring impact of nature within an ever-evolving digital landscape.
